Pigment ink
Waterproof particle-based ink for permanence.
Pigment inks suspend solid color particles instead of dissolving dyes. Once the carrier evaporates, the particles bond to the paper: waterproof, lightfast, archival — the choice for addresses, signatures, and art that meets watercolor.
Platinum Carbon Black is the reference. The discipline: keep the pen in rotation and clean it properly; dried pigment is the one thing you don’t want deep in a feed.
