Piston Fill

Glossary

Semi-flex

Mild, springy line variation without full flex commitment.

Semi-flex describes nibs that widen their line noticeably under moderate pressure — more than a spring, less than a wet noodle. Plenty for expressive everyday writing and signatures.

It is also the honest label for most modern "flex" marketing: enjoyable variation, not vintage drama.
