Converter
A refillable mini-reservoir that replaces cartridges.
A converter is a small removable piston (or squeeze) unit that fits the cartridge slot and lets a cartridge pen fill from bottled ink. It is the cheapest ticket into the whole world of bottled color.
Capacity is modest — usually 0.5–0.9 ml against a piston pen’s 1.5+ — but you gain easy cleaning and the freedom to change inks often.
